Good morning Montana

Looking out the window before heading off to work. 6" of fresh snow, and it's still coming down.

I can't wait to read and see more from you ExileBibliophile, my fellow 1980's era bookseller, and kindred spirit. Montana looks like a great place to cozy up by the fire and list some books, but how do you scout under those conditions haha? Rick Bass is one of my all-time favorite writers (and authors to collect) and I'm looking forward to reading his new book, which looks just about like nothing he's ever done before. Happy Holidays!

I've heard some good things about Bass's new book Nashville Chrome, but have not read any of his stuff. Too bad we didn't "meet" before I left OKC this summer. You could have come visited a Bibliophiles of Oklahoma outing.

Well, we got six inches in Helena, but then departed for Havre, where they not only had a lotta snow but a lotta cold (below zero the entire time we were there) to just make it oh so wonderful. I did see the lunar eclipse in all of its brightness from a light-free viewpoint, but didn't see the aurora that might have made it even better.

I tried to stay up, but just got too tired. I'll catch the next one in June. -15 with very dense fog this AM.
